Holistic Rehabilitation Approach

At Step Up Rehab, we adopt a holistic rehabilitation approach, drawing on a variety of therapeutic techniques from around the world to offer comprehensive care. Our goal is to help you achieve greater independence, reduce pain, and address dysfunction, allowing you to meet your personal goals and improve your quality of life. By focusing on both the symptoms and their underlying causes, we ensure that your treatment is tailored to support long-term independence and overall well-being.

Here are some of the techniques we use, but are not limited to:

Stick Mobility

Stick Mobility is a system designed to improve flexibility, strength, and coordination. Using custom-designed Training Sticks, the exercises combine joint mobilization, strength training, and active stretching. These flexible tools enhance leverage, stability, and body awareness, leading to increased muscle activation and a greater functional range of motion.

Functional Range Conditioning

Functional Range Conditioning is a comprehensive joint training system based in scientific principals and research. It focuses on mobility development, joint strength and body control.

Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)

DNS is a manual and rehabilitative approach to optimize the movement system and restore dysfunction based upon the scientific principles of developmental kinesiology (DK). DNS focuses on "re-learning" developmental posture during different stage of childhood in order to re-gain motor control and intra‐abdominal pressure (stability), improve performance and pain.

Fascial Manipulation

Fascial Manipulation is a manual therapy technique aimed at evaluating and treating global fascial dysfunction by restoring normal motion/gliding to the system. It focuses on improving pain, movement restriction and motor control.
